Bajamar – Things to do

La Salina is 3 miles to the north where you will find white sandy beaches to swim, surf and sun bathe. There is a small marina where you can launch your boat to enjoy a day on the water.

To the south lies Ensenada which offers all the services you will need: super markets, medical facilities, restaurants, shopping, museums, sports fishing and diving.

Travel Directions to Bajamar Golf Course

Once you cross the border at San Ysidro, get in the second lane from the right. Go up over the bridge and merge right – be careful of merging traffic – take the Rosarito/Ensenada scenic route exit. This will take you along the border fence heading west. After a long straight away you head up a hill, when you reach the top the road turns south as you head down. Get in the right hand lane; the on ramp for the scenic route is at the bottom of the hill. Once you’re on the highway get in the left hand lane so you don’t get got in the traffic going to Playas de Tijuana. Shortly after the Highway turns south you will come to the first of two toll booths, the second is in Rosarito. The cost of the toll is about $2.40 US. The Bajamar exit is at KM 77, 49 miles from the border, about a one hour drive.
