Boeing to Provide New Technologies at the Border!

News has revealed unconfirmed reports that the Chicago based company, Boeing, is about to be the winning bidder of the contract to offer new technologies for border security to assist in controlling the battle of illegal immigration.

Previously, the Canada and Mexico border projects were estimated at 2 billion dollars. Reports however, have indicated that the project is anticipated to be less expensive with Boeing’s contract proposal. Boeing’s contract proposal includes a network of 800 towers equipped with motion detectors and cameras to allow the Border Patrol the access to live border activity while other contractors proposed more costly technology such as remote controlled airplanes.

Many politicians believe that the increase in border security and the advancement of technology is mandatory for the security of the US Nation. Since the 9/11 attacks, the need for increased border protection is a matter of national security.
